Joining the Club

I'm not a member of the mile-high club. I once played under the blanket with my college boyfriend on a cross-country flight, but even in the most proper circles, it wouldn't have been considered an actual "handy." I'm a plane-virgin.

Turns out, there is an airline dedicated solely to helping people become members of the club. And yup, the airline is based in Vegas. LOVE! A Cessna 421 modified with an ultra-plush interior, Liberator sex cushions, a LED light/sound system, a teeny-tiny bathroom, and noise-canceling headphones for the pilot. Purrrrrrrr

Visit Love Cloud for more info and to book a flight.

My Experiments in Bio-hacking and Tiny Panties

Hi folks! Just a very quick note to catch you up on happenings with me.

I spent my summer dabbling in bio-hacking a la The Bulletproof executive. If you're interested in nutrition - specifically making small, nutritional changes to improve mental and physical capacity - your time would be well-spent perusing the Bulletproof blog. There's ALOT of good info there - regardless of whether you choose to buy any of his products. (And I didn't btw) .

Secondly - A panty review! I got my paws on a pair of these C-string undies. (The faster a girl's panties can come off, the better, right?) Well - it turns out I'm just too tall for them. (And I never thought a person could be too TALL for panties but apparently I am.) They're edged with flat, semi-moldable plastic tubing to keep their shape. The c-string did it's noble best to cling to me, hugging me in front and behind but sadly, walking was completely out of the question. One step and they'd drop an inch and/or pinch my Lady Jane. I think if I had a shorter rise (and the plastic tubing was softer) they would stay in place and be comfy. If you're curious to learn more - they're available on Amazon here.

Orgasmic Singing

I wrote a little over a year ago about women reading literature while having orgasms. (I invite you to check that out here.) The Dutch girl band ADAM has recently released a music video of their song "Go to go" and in it, they sing while orgasming. It's simple, sexy and sweet. Love it!

Where can I plug in my car?

Sure, gas stations are everywhere but what if you've decided to go green? The thought of making a long drive in an non-hybrid EV can seem a bit dicey - what if you run out of juice? (This exact problem faced a friend recently so it's been on my mind ...) Problem solved: Plugshare.com. It's a database of EV charging stations and there's a whole lot more of them than I realized. And yup, PlugShare makes an app.

Now let's stop a moment and collectively drool over that sleek Tesla Roadster.

Hair Fetish Revisited

I confess I've been a bit overwhelmed by the response to my earlier post about getting a call from a hair fetishist. I've received several emails from hair fetishists kindly trying to answer some of the questions I posed in my post.

One of my readers eloquently explained his fetish this way .... (names have been changed for privacy.)

"For a few of us, the sight, touch, smell and movement of a woman's hair is the strongest of all sexual cues. In my case, all of the following is true:

1. As early as 5 years old (!) I rode my trike over to Lisa N's house, a fellow five year old, and asked her if she would pin me to the ground and tickle me with her hair. It was all innocent . . . but the crazy desire is that old. Never happened with young Lisa. Just a quizzical "what?!" from her.

2. I was FASCINATED, even before I could read, with the Breck Girls advertisements in Mom's Good Housekeeping magazines from the late 60's and early 70's. Blondes mostly.

3. First thing I look at in a woman, is her hair. Before her face, body, dress, demeanour. It's about her hair. The thickness, curl, texture, length, how it lands on her shoulders or her back. If she has highlighted it, I look at the different strands, the way it reflects light, the way it moves, hangs; all of it is captivating.

4. Watching porn, lots of it is good, but the best scenes are honestly, accidental, when the hair flips a certain way, or if she's riding her man and there is that tousled care free natural movement, then it's really hot.

5. Money shots into a girls hair, yeah that's hot, and I have wanted to do that, but it's not the end all. It's more about being with an uninhibited woman who, for lack of a better phrase, is willing to let her hair down and would appreciate rocking her partner's world and have a good time with it.

6. One woman that kind of understood it commented that hundreds and hundreds of strands on a man's skin would certainly cause a lot of sensory stimulation, but she again failed to comprehend the power. She's right about how good it feels. But she's still missing the point that it is very feminine, very submissive. And for a few of us, it's a grand slam. Writing about this is dizzying.

7. Fetish porn is hit and miss. Some "hair job" videos are hot. Would love to have that happen. Have not wanted my feet washed with a woman's hair like in the Bible. We all know they were freaky back then too though.
WAY MORE than you wanted to know? Thank you for inspiring me to articulate this."
And thank you for having the courage to share your thoughts. We learn from each other.

Hysterical Literature

It is with great wonder that I introduce you to the videos of American blogger/photographer Clayton Cubbitt. Short clips of beautiful women reading literature out loud.  I was introduced to this artist's work by a friend, really as a tantalizing alternative to porn. Now you're wondering - how can videos of a fully-clothed woman sitting alone at a desk and reading out loud satisfy like porn? Well my sweet pet - each woman is reading while being brought to orgasm by unseen forces beneath the table. The results are pretty steamy-sexy as her hands remain in view the entire time. I'm dying to see what was going on under the desk, but alas I never will. Cubbitt's entitled his collection "Hysterical Literature" and the results are captivating. Visit his website for more.

The Dominatrix at the Gym

My gym buddies want to try a domination-style fitness class - where a sexy dominatrix runs the class, demanding obedience and compliance. It sounds like hilarious fun and I'm up for it, at least once. I know these were hot-for-a-minute a few years back, but I haven't heard of any classes recently. If you know of a class in OC or LA that's still active, please email me at paloma@hushmail.com with details. Thanks!

The Surprising Origins of the Vibrator

A while back, I promised myself that I'd see the Maggie Gyllenhall movie "Hysteria" - and I finally did last week. The film is set in 1880's Victorian Britain and follows a young MD as he takes a new position in a medical practice devoted to the treatment of "lady problems" - frigidity, anxiousness and hysteria - hence the movie's title. Without giving too much away, the doctor and his compatriots - almost out of sheer necessity - develop the first electric vibrator. Perhaps it's my gallows humor or my general comfort with topics related to sex, but I thought the movie was fantastic; I dare to say even "hysterical" at moments. The film is apparently historically-accurate but was available in limited-release only and unfortunately, did not make alot at the box office. Pity. It's available on-demand on cable and if you're looking for a cheeky, light-hearted rom-com about female genital manipulation (and truthfully, aren't we all?) this baby fits the bill. I recommend it especially for the frigid, the lusty, the sexually-curious and history buffs. Two vibes straight up!

Move over Jackson Pollock

I remember reading about a 5k last year - I think it was in Arizona - where runners were pelted with colored dust during the race. (I also have a vague recollection that the runners were naked, but that's likely just my deviant mind's wishful thinking.) I had every intention of participating the next year but wasn't keen on travelling to Arizona just to run a 5k.

Come to find out this week, the good folks over at The Color Run travel around the US to put on these "5ks of color-running madness" (from their website) and they sound like a blast. The concept is inspired by Holi - the Hindu Festival of Colors - welcoming the new spring season. And now, as luck would have it, there's a Color Run scheduled at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego on November 3rd. The race isn't timed (instead just for fun), and you can get dusted off by being "blown dry" before heading home.

More info at The Color Run.

People Who Just Had Sex

For a day or two after I lost my virginity, I was convinced people would be able to tell, just by looking at me. I very clearly remember sitting in a restaurant, not being able to look the waitress in the eye. I sheepishly gave my order and told myself to "ACT AS NORMAL AS POSSIBLE!" Makes me giggle now to remember it. :-)

And it wasn't actually just the first time, but more like the first few times before I didn't feel like I had a giant sign over me, proclaiming "I just had sex and want that to remain a secret!" Out of an ultra-self-conscious adolescent mix of modesty, curiosity and fear, I'd look at others to see if anyone showed any tell-tale signs of recent effing. Nope. None. And it's true to this day: I've never looked at another human being and thought, "Awwwww, you just lost your virginity." lol

There's that nebulous time between finishing love-making and being seen again in public. Several hours for those who roll over and go to sleep, all the way down to a split-second (or less) for the thrill-seekers of sex in public. Not my cup. I need at least a few minutes to pull myself together, to hide that WOW-factor. ;-)

Enter Vice magazine's new interview series "People Who Just Had Sex." Each short episode is an interview with a couple immediately after sex, describing what they did. No room for shyness here. The vibe of the videos is sweet and very, very relaxed - not surprising with the Post-O glow. The discussion is graphic and candid. I liked seeing people still body-drunk from their lover. Sexy. You can watch the videos here.

"The Viagra Condom"

An ingenious development in safer-sex technology. The Durex company has created a condom featuring a special gel on the inside of the condom that increases blood flow to the penis, thereby increasing the strength of a man's erection.  Wearing the condom has essentially the same effect as taking a blue pill. The company is seeking product approval in Britain and I'm hoping this little beauty finds it way to stores in America. (It's not currently available in the U.S.)  Gentleman - meet the CDS500 condom.

Let's make a deal!

The simplest and most obvious way to celebrate Soul Train's Don Cornelius's life is to dance to some old school funk. Dance around clothing-optional, when no one's looking, getting lost in the thump. So make me a promise that you'll do this at least once by the weekend. I'm going to, too. Actually, I already did.

I tranced to "Soul Makossa" by Manu Dibango.
The song's below.

And now, it's your turn, gentle reader. Do it for Don.

Don Cornelius - May he rest in peace.

Man's answer to the push-up bra

This makes me giggle with glee. Really.

I've occasionally wondered if a man ever feels cheated or wholly deceived when he unmasks a tit-set (yup - I said it - tit-set) from one of those Victoria Secret bras that promises a TWO cup-size increase. Bras, when fitted properly, can be miracle workers, magical anti-gravity machines, restoring youthful perkiness and hiding all sorts of nasty natural phenomenon that plague aging boobies. But men - listen up - Andrew Christian's come to your rescue!

The saying "Don't get mad - get even" comes into play with the designer's set of mens underwear that includes a soft, cushy cup in the shape of a penis. Y'all can now rock your own version of "I'm pretending to be more stereotypically sexually-appealing than my genes dictate." The brief's design even outlines a very prominent penis head. O....M....G!

Now, I confess - as I meander through this life, mostly in very polite society, the sight of such a bulge with a head clearly visible makes me question the bearer's common sense. The phrase "cover that sh*t UP" comes to mind. But candidly, if I've had a couple of drinks and find the bulge-owner attractive in other respects, I think I just might be intrigued and curious to learn more. lol

These magically-enhancing undies can be seen (and purchased) here at Andrew Christian's site.

I'd love to see just one set in person. Hell, I might even try 'em on.

12 men, 12 nipples, 12 patterns

Artists Fernanda ViƩgas and Martin Wattenberg create online visual representations of data. (Have I lost you yet? I promise that will be the driest sentence in this post :)

They've created very cool visual studies of erogenous zones, breast shapes, male nipple hair growth patterns (hence the title of this post) and body parts mentioned in songs, arranged by genre of music. After a visit to their site, I now know "the tush" is the most-mentioned body part in Hip-hop music. No surprise there really. :)

In any case, I can't really explain the site. I'm not doing it justice. The website is coolly interactive. There's nudity. It has a minimalist design. Go check it out. You will not be wanting that time back later. ;)

Ode to the Lixvibrator

A vibrating tongue stud for the under-stimulated young bud.

In the mouths of an adventurous faction,
In the dreams of lonely men seeking action.

With a twirl and a lick,
he stood straight and proud quick,
introduced to exquisite quivering distraction.

The Lixvibrator - Vibrating tongue stud.
If you're really daring .... try the thrasher.

2-second dresses

Russian photgrapher Andrey Razumovsky has created stunning portraits of women in milk dresses. More here. His personal website is here.
